This Week at Remap

Patrick Klepek

Last night, I lost two hours of progress in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, because of the game's very weird "retry" screen that appears when you die. I was vaguely aware of this problem with the game, but when it happened to me, and suddenly two hours of quiet and happy work vanished, I was probably as angry as I've been at a video game in a long time. It was kind of embarrassing, especially when my response was to pour a drink and...just keep playing. Ugh.

  • MONDAY: Patiently waiting for the new Shogun to drop. (I'm on a podcast talking about Shogun, among other TV things, but I might have to record with Rob when the whole thing wraps up.)
  • TUESDAY: Don't look up anything about Buckshot Roulette. Just join us.
  • WEDNESDAY: "May involve Godzilla" is correct. Excited for this interview.
  • THURSDAY: You'll probably hear a lot of me shouting about Pepper Grinder on this show, so apologies in advance. Cado will be back!
  • FRIDAY: Another episode of Remap Radio, and more of me streaming Dragon's Dogma 2. I'll see if I'm able to get Cado along for the ride.
